Web Sites of Teacher Candidates
This page has been provided to showcase the skills of students and graduates of the Division of Education.
The websites linked at right represent a range of skills possessed by our students. As part of their program in teacher preparation, all LCSC teacher candidates learn to utilize a variety of technologies and to design, develop, and integrate a wide array of media. Among these experiences, candidates learn to publish on the World Wide Web. Site development provides opportunities for candidates to establish and demonstrate their skills to integrate numerous media and technologies into teaching and learning as well as to document their competencies as professionals.
Some of the websites linked here (I) represent a professional portfolio that documents the teacher candidate's professional competencies and experiences. These websites were created in partial fulfillment of requirements for the full-year, professional internship served by the candidate.
Other websites linked here (II) were created as partial fulfillment of requirements for a course, Professional Strategies for Teaching, K-8 (ED323). These websites demonstrate knowledge, skills, and dispositions related to teaching strategies, methods, management, and the integration of media and technology into teaching and learning.
LCSC students in Teacher Education have been encouraged to post their websites as a means of displaying documentation of their various teaching competencies to other students, teachers, and potential employers.
All students who post sites here have read and accept the LCSC Appropriate Use of Technology Guidelines.
Please Note: The websites accessible from this page have been designed and developed by students.
