--Top-ranked Lewis-Clark State finally got the bats going, unleashing an 11-hit attack, in a 13-1 win over Eastern Oregon, in the Paffile Trucking Tournament, at Harris Field.Lewis-Clark State (6-4) wasted little time, scoring three runs in the first and three more in the second. Trevor Brown and Seth Haselhuhn both collected RBI singles in the first innings and Haselhuhn also ripped a two-run double to left center in the second. LCSC capped it all off with a four-run sixth inning, led by Micah Furtados two-run single to right field.
J.R. Crider (2-0) pitched five innings of three-hit ball and struck out four. Jake Kor threw two innings of hitless relief, but gave up the lone Mountaineer run, unearned, in the seventh.
Eastern Oregon (0-3) was held to only three hits. Izzie Acosta, Devron Carriere, and Tommy Porter tallied the three base hits for the Mountaineers. Starter Jake Barnoski (0-1) pitched four innings, tossing 118 pitches.
