BOISE -- Tyler Best and Jose Rodriguez each had two-run home runs and Seth McCauley added a three-run double to power Lewis-Clark State to a 9-3 victory Sunday over Albertson, completing a four-game sweep of the Coyotes at Memorial Stadium.

The Warriors (42-7) have beaten the Coyotes all five times this season. Albertson (23-29) picked up two runs in the third inning and one in the seventh. Each teams racked up 10 hits on the day.

Best's shot came in the third inning, following Brandon Morris's RBI base hit. Rodriguez hit his homer in the fourth, scoring Anthony Slagle after Derek Bruce's RBI sacrifice fly. Rodriguez leads the Warriors in multiple-hit games with 21, and has 14 hits in his last six games. McCauley's two-out RBI hit in the seventh came after Ryan Stevenson and Best drew walks, and Danny Ruberte was struck by a pitch. Justin Cooper did not play for the Warriors Sunday, so his 21-game hitting streak remains intact. Clay Johnson got the win for L-C, improving to 3-1. Johnson worked six innings, giving up eight hits and two runs, fanning three. Matt Zachary (2-4) recorded the loss for the Coyotes. He served up six runs on eight hits with three walks and two Ks.

The Warriors will be on the road Tuesday, taking on Central Washington at Ellensburg.
