APRIL 24, 2005 LC-STATE COMPLETES FOUR-GAME SWEEP OF ALBERTSON CALDWELL, Idaho - Joey Dyche continued an amazing season for Lewis-Clark State, going 4-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI, as the No. 2 ranked Warriors completed a four-game sweep of Albertson College, knocking off the Coyotes, 12-2, at Simplot Stadium. The junior transfer, who came into the game with a region-best .503 batting average, laced four singles in the game to help LC-State (36-6) to their 28th win in 30 games. The Warriors jumped out early, as Dyche singled and came around to score on a Justin Fuller RBI triple. Josh Celigoy would single home Fuller - part of a four-run first inning, as LC-State opened a 8-0 edge. Albertson (19-16) would score their lone runs in the fourth off starter Derrick Landavazo, as Pat Burke singled home Greg Stalling, then Nate Freese brought Burke home with a ringing double. LC-State would add two runs in the fifth and seventh to cap the scoring. Celigoy went 3-for-5 with two RBI for the Warriors, while Burke and Stalling each had two hits for the 'Yotes.
