Dyche Receives Honors For Second Consecutive Week

Lewiston, ID – For the second time in as many weeks, Lewis-Clark State’s Joey Dyche was selected as NAIA Region I baseball player of the week.

Dyche, a junior transfer from Pasadena Community College, hit .555 (10-18) with 9 RBI’s, 3 stolen bases, and 9 runs scored in 4 games during last weeks play.

Joey’s year to date totals include a .513 batting average, with 77 hits, 9 hr’s, 44 rbi’s, 16 stolen bases, and a perfect fielding percentage.  If the season ended today, Joey would hold the Warrior single season batting percentage record, currently held by Chad Miltenberger at .482. 

The Warriors are 36-6 on the year, and currently hold the #2 ranking in the NAIA polls.  LCSC is in action tonight at Harris field, hosting Washington State University.  The game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start time.
