Brandon Morris named Region I Player of the Week

Lewiston, ID – Lewis-Clark State’s Brandon Morris, a senior from Madera, California, was recently named the Player of the Week in Region I. 

Morris hit .476 with three home runs and 13 RBI during the Warriors seven game homestand last week.  In Saturday’s contest against St. Martins College, he hit a grand slam in the seventh inning and finished with two home runs and 6 RBI in a 15-4 win.

He currently leads the Warriors with 9 home runs and 34 RBI.  He raised his batting average to .346 and has a slugging percentage of .765.

The Warriors are riding a 14 game winning streak and have pushed their overall record to 22-4.  Ranked #2 in the latest NAIA National Poll, the Warriors will look to extend their streak against Central Washington University on Saturday, April 2^nd at Harris Field.
