2005: During 29 games (19 starts) and 85 at-bats, Kooken posted a .529 slugging percentage and a .282 batting average. He drove in 20 runs, scored 19, and collected 12 doubles and three homeruns. 

COLLEGE: Graduated from Lane CC (OR) in 2003...was a 1st Team NWAACC Southern Region selection at shortstop under head coach Donny Harrel...hit .341 with 3 home runs and 36 rbi's, as his team was the Champions of the Southern Region.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Douglas High School (OR) in 2001...was a four year letter-winner under head coach Eric Hoberg...was  1st Team All-League in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons...hit .500 with 9 hr in his junior season...hit .492 with 6 hr in his senior season and was  a 2nd Team All-State selection.

PERSONAL: Born October 5, 1982 in Roseburg, Oregon to Jerry and Edna Stoffal...has one brother, Jered...a Kinesiology Major.
