COLLEGE:
Pitched for two years at College of the Canyons, and
was a member of both the first team all-conference and second team
all-conference. During his freshman year he led the state in strikeouts
per nine innings.
HIGH SCHOOL: During high school, at
Sylmar High, Palma lettered twice in baseball and once in basketball.
Under coaches Rivera and Donatella he was a two-time member of the first
team all-conference. During his senior year he posted a 1.77 ERA and was
elected team captain.
PERSONAL: Born April 5, 1985 in Panorama City, CA,
Christopher J. Palma is the son of Albert and Patricia Palma. He has one
brother, Albert, and two sisters, Cynthia and Michelle, and enjoys
playing handball. Palma is currently pursuing a degree in
communications.
