Warriors begin 2006 Baseball season Friday
Opening day features concession
discounts and free giveaways; Additional game
added to weekends schedule

College baseball’s opening day for the 2006
season is set to begin on Friday, February 10 at
2 p.m. , as the Warriors face off against
Vanguard University right here at Harris Field.
The Warriors host Vanguard again the following
day, Saturday, February 11, in a double-header
set for noon. Recently added to this weekend’s
schedule is a single game against Whitworth, set
for Sunday, Feb 12 at 1p.m.
As part of the opening day celebration, Sodexho
will be providing free coffee to all who attend,
and the Warrior athletic department will be
providing free giveaways through the duration of
the game.
Following opening day, L-C has additional
promotion events taking place throughout the
2006 season.
On Saturday, April 1, CableOne is the official
sponsor of this game, with everyone getting in
free of charge. Not only is admission free,
there will be hundred’s of seat cushions,
umbrellas, and other goodies handed out at the
gate. CableOne is also hosting a free drawing,
with fans having a chance to win Spokane Indians
and Seattle Mariners baseball tickets. L-C
hosts Eastern Oregon University on this day at 1
p.m. at Harris field.
Saturday, April 22 is tabbed as Pepsi “Little
League” day, as all youth and coaches wearing
their jersey and baseball cap get in free.
Pepsi is the official sponsor, and will be
handing out free Pepsi products throughout the
day. The Warriors are scheduled to play
Albertson College at 1 p.m. at Harris Field.
Tuesday, April 25 is the official L-C Valley
merchant night, where local businesses are
providing free products and giveaways throughout
the night to all fans in attendance. The
Warriors play Whitworth College on this day,
which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at LCSC’s
Harris Field.
