Warrior Baseball
Preseason Rating
11-28-05
After going 47-9 in
2005, and ending the regular season ranked no. 1,
the Lewis-Clark State Warriors will begin the 2006
baseball season ranked no. 2. Oklahoma City, last
year’s 2005 NAIA national champions, who narrowly
defeated the Warriors 11-10 in tournament play, will
begin the year in the no. 1 spot. Embry-Riddle, who
knocked the Warriors out of the 2005 National
tournament, start the season off at no. 3.
With thirteen national championship titles in their
history, the Warriors are anxious to begin the 2006
season. The NAIA World Series will once again be
played at our own Harris Field, and the L-C baseball
program, with a strong returning roster and an
incredible amount of recruited talent, is once again
in a good position to win a national title.
The Warrior baseball
season kicks off at home on February 10, 2006
against Vanguard University.
