LCSC: Saw action in 35 games and started 12. He hit .348 with 18 runs scored and 12 RBI. He was 7-of-14 against left-handed pitching and went 2-for-5 with the bases loaded last year.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: He played two years at Porterville Junior College and was selected first-team all-Central Valley Conference. He hit .352 his sophomore year.

HIGH SCHOOL: He lettered twice in baseball and once in football at Bullard High. He earned second-team all-league honors his senior year at shortstop.

PERSONAL: Born April 11, 1985 to Mike and Vicki Evangelho. He enjoyed basketball, football, fishing, sports and video games. He has one brother, Seth, and three sisters, Kyla, Kendra and Alee. He is majoring in Kinesiology.
