LCSC:
He had an immediate impact on the
program last season, starting in 44 games and hitting .361 to earn
NAIA all-Region 1 honors and honorable mention All-America honors.
He led the team in stolen bases with 14 and being hit by a pitch
with 21.Had eight doubles and 17 RBI. He will make the switch to
shortstop this season.
JUNIOR
COLLEGE: Prior to LCSC, he
played two seasons at Edmonds Community College and during his
sophomore year, he was a fist-team North Region selection, an All-NWAACC
North Region All-Star and a member of the All-NWAACC team. He hit
.335 with 32 RBI and 26 stolen bases that season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Woodinville
High in 2003, where he earned three letters in football and two in
baseball. He received first-team all-league honors both his junior
and senior years in baseball. He hit .409 his senior year to earn
all-league honors. His team won the state title during his junior
year.
PERSONAL:
Born Nov. 26, 1984 in
Santa Clara, Calif. He is the son of Mark Thompson Sr. and Corrine
Rogers. He has a brother, Matthew, and a sister, Jessica. He follows
the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Enjoy watching football and
playing sports. He is majoring in Kinesiology
