Warriors keep No. 1 spot

Lewis-Clark State was a clear-cut choice for No. 1 in the season's first NAIA Baseball Top 25 poll, which was released Wednesday.

The Warriors, who received the top spot in the preaseason poll released last fall, retained the position by collecting 13 of the 21 first-place votes and a total of 510 points.

Azusa Pacific, Calif., an NAIA World Series participant last year, remained second while Lee, Tenn., jumped two spots to third.

L-C, which beat Washington 8-6 on Wednesday in Seattle to move to 11-2, will play host to Gonzaga on Sunday at Harris Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
