JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Played two seasons at Edmonds Community College, where he was
captain his sophomore year. During freshman season, he posted a 7-3
record with a 3.13 ERA. He led the team in wins and strikeouts. As a
sophomore, he earned second team all-league honors with a 5-2 record
and a 1.61 ERA. He also had four no decisions. He again led the team
in wins and strikeouts, threw five complete games and three
shutouts, including two one-hit shutouts.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Kentwood High where he played baseball for three seasons
and basketball for one. He was a shortstop, third baseman and
pitcher. He earned honorable mention all-league honors as a junior
when he went 5-2 with a 1.32 ERA on the mound. His team finished
second at State. As a senior, he was 8-3 with a 0.78 ERA, which
earned him all-league honors. He was one out away from throwing a
perfect game in the playoffs, but his team eventually lost in the
opening round of the State Tournament.
PERSONAL:
Born May 29, 1987 to Don and Stacey Litzenberger. He has two
sisters, Rachelle, and Jenell. He lists his hobbies as all sports.
He is majoring in Computer Science at LCSC.
