JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Played two seasons at Walla Walla Community College where he was a
team captain his sophomore year. During his freshman year, he went
1-3 with a 3.23 ERA and pitched 53 innings. A year later, he set
three school records by posting an 11-3 record with a 1.74 ERA and
97 strikeouts in 103.2 innings. The wins, innings pitched and
strikeouts were all school marks. He was named the Eastern Region
Player of the Year and was a first-team all-conference and all-East
Region selection.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned two letters in baseball while pitching for former Warrior Tom
Grunenfelder. He also played for the Lewis-Clark Twins and with the
Spokane River Hawks.
PERSONAL:
Born March 27, 1987 to Rich and Debbie Masters. His father also
attended LCSC. Nick is majoring in Business.
