LCSC:
Has been a solid
outfielder for the
Warriors, starting 139
games during his first
three seasons and is
expected to be a rare
four-year starter in the
program. Last season, he
got off to a hot start
with at least two hits
in six of the team’s
first seven games. He
started a team-best 59
games and played in 61.
Finished second on the
team in stolen bases and
was fifth in home runs.
Had a season-high four
RBI. Best game came in
the Series when he went
2-for-3 with three RBI,
three runs scored and a
home run in a win over
Embry-Riddle. As a
sophomore, he was named
to NAIA Region I team.
Saw action mainly in
left field and was
fourth on the team in
starts with 50. He was
consistent at the plate,
hitting .328 off
left-handers and .324
off right-handers. Also
hit .360 with runners in
scoring position and
.500 (6-of-12) with the
bases loaded. Saw plenty
of playing time as a
true freshman three years
ago, starting in 28
games and playing in 36,
eighth most on the team.
He hit .330 with 17 RBI
and spent most of his
playing time in right
field. His 97 plate
appearances was ninth on
the team.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Kamiakin High
School and earned three
varsity letters in
basketball and two in
baseball. During his
senior year playing
basketball he was
awarded the Joe Redden
Award (most
inspirational athlete),
selected first-team
All-Conference, was his
team's MVP, and was
runner-up for league MVP
award. In baseball,
during his senior year,
he batted .417 and was
named first-team
All-Conference, and
second-team All-State.
During the summer of his
senior year he led the
Twin-City Titans to a
second place finish at
the World Series in
Rapid City, S.D. During
this series he was a
part of the
all-tournament team
outfield, and led the
Series in hits and runs
scored.

Born Feb. 28, 1987 in
Richland, Wash., to
Wayne and Merri Martin.
He has one sister,
Lyndsey, and enjoys
fishing, hunting, and
drawing. Martin is
currently pursuing a
degree in Biology.
