PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Attended Mid-Continental University in Mayfield, KY., where he played on the baseball team as a pitcher and an outfielder during the 2006-07 and ’07-08 seasons. In 2007, he played in 18 games and went 0-for-6 at the plate with two runs scored. He also was 0-3 on the mound with a 12.58 ERA and one save. In the following season, he pitched in 17 games and had a 8.28 ERA with no decisions. He again went 0-for-3 at the plate.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended T.L. Hanna, Chung Dau High School in Taiwan and played on the baseball team as a pitcher and outfielder. He was captain of the team during 2004-06.

PERSONAL: Born October 4, 1987 in Taipei, Taiwan. His father is Zhen-Yao Chiang and his mother is Yu-Chen Wang. Charles real name is Cheng-Yu. He has has two sisters, Shana Chiang, and Szu-Yi Chiang. His hobbies are surfing, watching movies, and surfing the Internet. He is majoring in Hospitality Management.  Has a current GPA of 3.65.
