LCSC: Had a strong first season with the team and became one of the mainstays out of the bullpen. He finished second on the team in appearances with 17 and was second in saves with two. He tied for team-high honors in wins and was second among the regulars in lowest batting average as opponents only hit .226 against him. Only one of his 17 appearances was a start.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in baseball and football at Lake City High School. As a pitcher, he was named first-team all-state as a senior, and was picked first-team all-league in both his junior and senior season. Held a 7-2 record as a senior, and went 6-3 as a junior, and was named Lake City’s Male Athlete of the Year. Helped his team win the state title his junior year. Also had two third-place finishes at state with his legion team.

PERSONAL: Born on February 28, 1990 to John and LeAnn Clanton. Has a brother, Matthew. His father, John, played baseball at BYU. Hobbies include playing video games, and hanging out with friend. Is a Sports Administration major.
