saves with two. He tied for

one of his 17 appearances
was a start.
HIGH
SCHOOL:
Earned three varsity letters
in baseball and football at
Lake City High School. As a
pitcher, he was named
first-team all-state as a
senior, and was picked
first-team all-league in
both his junior and senior
season. Held a 7-2 record as
a senior, and went 6-3 as a
junior, and was named
Lake
City’s
Male Athlete of the Year.
Helped his team win the
state title his junior year.
Also had two third-place
finishes at state with his
legion team.

John and LeAnn Clanton. Has
a brother, Matthew. His
father, John, played
baseball at BYU. Hobbies
include playing video games,
and hanging out with friend.
