LCSC:
Started 18 games for the
Warriors at both catcher and
third base, but struggled at
times at the plate and hit
.195 with two home runs and
13 RBI. Made the World
Series roster for the third
straight year. As a
sophomore, he started out at
as a regular in the
Warriors’ lineup, but wound
up being sidelined most of
the year with injuries. He
missed five games in March
with a pulled abdominal
muscle and then suffered a
knee injury in early April
that turned out to be a
partial ligament tear, which
sidelined him the rest of
the season. He played both
catcher and third base. He
finished the season by
playing in 24 games and
hitting .284. His best game
of the season came against
Corban
College
went he went 2-for-6 with a
two-run home run and four
RBI. During his freshman
year, he was the backup to
Jessie Mier. He saw action
in 25 games and started 10.
Had a fielding percentage of
.985 and hit .250 for the
season. He was mainly used
as a pinch-hitter during the
Avista NAIA World Series.
HIGH
SCHOOL:
Played third base and
catcher for
Coeur d’Alene
High School
and served as captain his
junior and senior years. He
also played a year of
basketball at CHS.
Earned first-team all-Inland
Empire League his final two
years and also was Mr.
Viking of the team. He
earned all-state honors and
helped Coeur d’Alene
American Legion team finish
third at State.
PERSONAL:
Born on Dec. 2, 1987 to Wes
and Sharon Georgius. Has one
sister, Samantha. Was a
member of the 2005 Seattle
Mariners Area Code Team. He
won Renaissance Award and
Mr. CHS in high school.
Hobbies include athletics
and recreation. He is
majoring in Secondary
Education-Natural
Sciences with a minor in
Kinesiology.
