PREVIOUS COLLEGE:
Pitched for three seasons at
Northwest
Nazarene
University
and was a team captain last
season. He sat out the
2008 season. Finished last
season with an 0-1 record
and a 7.46 ERA in 16 relief
appearances. He gave up 34
hits and 21 runs in 25.1
innings, but struck out 26.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Potlatch
High School and graduated in 2005. He
played quarterback for two
seasons on the football team
and then was a four-year
letterwinner in baseball. He
played both shortstop and
pitcher, and served as a
team captain his final three
seasons. Earned all-state
honors his final two seasons
and was the team MVP and
Pitcher of the Year his
final three seasons. Helped
the Loggers to a
second-place finish at state
during his junior year when
he was 7-1 with 1.07 ERA
with 77 strikeouts and 18
walks. As a senior, he was
8-0 with a 0.86 ERA and 81
strikeouts and 21 walks. He
also hit .576 with seven
home runs as a senior.

Orofino, Idaho.
His parents are John and
Dorrie, and he has one
brother, Aaron, and two
sisters, Dawn and Crystal.
His brother plays baseball
at
Northwest Nazarene
University. . Hobbies
include hunting, music and
baseball. He is pursuing a
Communications degree.
