LCSC: Joins Travis Georgius as the only seniors to have played all four seasons at LCSC. Played in 28 games a year ago and despite only driving in six runs, he hit three home runs. Went 1-for-3 with two runs scored in two games at the Avista NAIA World Series. Did not play for the Warriors in 2008, but played in six games and hit .353 (6-for-17) with five RBI and three doubles in 2007. In 2006, after redshirting 2005, he played in 16 games and started four, and collected seven RBI in only 23 plate appearances.
 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Aiea High School in Hawaii in 2004 after he also attended Mid-Pacific Institute. He was an honorable mention all-league selection as a junior and was named to the all-league first team as a senior. He also was a second-team all-State selection as a season. Played final two years under coach Ryan Kato.
 

PERSONAL: Born November 6, 1985 in Honolulu. He is the son of Guy and Linda Tajiri. Goes by the nicknames of Miyagi and Pono. Hobbies are skimboarding, fishing, golfing, and longboarding. He is majoring in Kinesiology.
