COLLEGE: Played one season at Douglas Community College near Vancouver, British Columbia. Earned second team All-North Region in the NWAACC and also won a Gold Glove for his defensive play. Won the Gord Ellis Memorial Award for excellence in community service and commitment to baseball.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Kwantlen Park Secondary in Surrey, B.C., in 2008. Played baseball for former Warrior Dennis Springenatic and was co-captain of the team his senior year as a catcher.

PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 27, 1990. Parents are Jim and Connie and he has one sister. Real name is William but prefers Will. Lists his hobbies as country music, hockey, fishing, and being outdoors. He is majoring in Kinesiology. Won the Orest Springenatic Award for the Whalley Little League.
