LCSC: Played all three
outfield positions in 2010,
but spent the majority of
the season in right field…he
played in 48 games with 36
starts and hit .270
(38-for-141)...had 26 runs
scored, six double, three
home runs, 15 RBI, and was
second on the team with four
stolen bases in five
attempts…one of his best
games came during the NAIA
World Series when he went
3-for-4 with a double
against Embry-Riddle…he
excelled on defense,
committing just one error
and notching five assists.
JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Played two seasons in the
outfield and at first base
at Santa Rosa Junior
College…earned all-Big 8
Conference honors as a
sophomore when he hit .301
with 12 doubles, seven home
runs and 39 RBI…also had a
solid freshman season with a
.333 batting average and a
state JC-leading 18
doubles…he also hit three
home runs that season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended El Molino High
School in Duncan Mills,
Calif., and graduated in
2006…he earned three letters
in baseball as a pitcher,
third baseman and
outfielder…he was captain of
the team his final two years
there…he also earned three
letters in football as a
tight end and a linebacker,
and also was captain of the
team for two seasons…he
earned first-team all-league
honors as a junior and
senior in baseball and
first-team all-Empire Area
honors both seasons as
well…hit .506 as a
senior…was a first-team
all-league selection in
football as a junior and
senior, and also an
all-Empire pick as a senior.
PERSONAL: Born on
September 22, 1988…his
parents are Randy and Gina
Casini, and he has one
brother, Andy, and one
sister, Jaime…his hobbies
include hunting, fishing,
golf, and being outdoors…he
is a Business Management
major…has a 5-year-old son
Dantae Casini…made the
Dean’s List at Santa Rosa in
2007.
