LCSC:
Made six appearances
(two starts) in 2012 as a
junior after returning from
elbow surgery in mid-March…
Went 2-0 with a 1.98 ERA and
one save in 13.2 innings of
work...Redshirted in 2011
after having Tommy John
surgery...Made 12
appearances in 2010 out of
the Warrior bullpen,
primarily in long relief,
and finished with the third
best ERA on the team at
2.01…He had a 3-0 record and
in 31.1 innings, collected a
save, 17 strikeouts to four
walks, and held opponents to
a .258 batting average.
WASHINGTON:
Pitched a
year for the Huskies in
2009…Made 19 appearances,
all but one in relief, and
finished with a 3-1 record
and a 3.09 ERA, which ranked
second on the team…He
pitched 35 innings and
allowed 41 hits with seven
walks and 12
strikeouts…Opponents hit
.304 against him.
Ironically, his only start
of the season came against
LCSC when he allowed seven
hits and two runs in four
innings in a 5-2 setback to
the Warriors…He had a no
decision in the game.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Was
homeschooled, but played
sports at Eastmont High… He
was a quarterback and
linebacker on the football
team under coach Doug McGill
where he earned two letters
and then was a pitcher and
third baseman on the
baseball team for coach
Brandon Schmitten…He earned
three letters in baseball
and was captain of the team
his senior year.
