Note 3: Steve Reed is the only Warrior to make it to the Majors without being selected in the draft. Reed signed with the San Francisco Giants as an amateur free agent in 1988, and made his Major League debut on Aug. 30, 1992. *Darensbourg did not sign with the Royals in 1989. Instead he signed with the Marlins as a free agent in 1992.
