LHS Cross Country Runner Recruited by
LCSC
2-15-06
Already
NAIA Championship contenders, the
Lewis-Clark State College Cross Country
program is looking to jump out even
stronger next season. Coach Mike
Collins, in an effort to improve his
already nationally ranked teams, has
announced another addition to the 2006
roster. Danielle Hanvey, a local runner
from Lewiston High School, has signed a
letter of intent to run for L-C next
season. Coach Collins describes Hanvey
as a very hardworking, tough, and
determined runner. The women’s program,
which finished last season ranked #19 in
the nation, is excited that Hanvey is
joining the team, and think she’ll be a
perfect fit.
Danielle
Hanvey represents the third female, and
fourth runner overall, recruited this
off-season by Head Coach Mike Collins
and the program. She joins Brett Fowler,
Kyli Astle, Lindsey Syzbura, and
Danielle Hanvey on the list of 2006’s
newcomers.
