Warriors hosting annual cross country

Lewiston, ID- The Warrior
Athletic Association is hosting a social
at the LCSC cross country invite,
scheduled this Saturday, October 22 at
Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston. The
women kick off the race at 10:30 a.m.,
followed by the men at 11:15 a.m. Come
support the nationally ranked Warrior
teams as they host schools from the
Pacific Northwest in this 5 and 8
kilometer run. The course is fan
friendly, with multiple view points
setup throughout to watch the action
unfold. Refreshments will be available
close to the finish line. Appropriate
shoe attire is recommended due to the
terrain encountered throughout the park.
With the teams ranked 18th
and 23rd respectively, this
weekends race is instrumental in
building on the future success of this
season. Flathead valley C.C., Spokane
Falls C.C. , and Whitworth College will
be attending the competition. Spokane
C.C. defeated the L-C men last weekend
on their course in Spokane, Washington,
so the men are hungry to avenge that
loss.
