L-C men, women take third

SPOKANE -- Aaron Galbraith and Taryn Joyce-Mendive
helped the Lewis-Clark State men's and
women's cross country teams to third-place
finishes Saturday in the Bigfoot Open, a
meet put on by the Community Colleges of
Spokane.
With a time of 26:09, Galbraith took
seventh in the men's race. Joyce-Mendive
finished fourth in the women's race, running
a time of 19:10.
The L-C women had four runners finish in
the top 15, prompting coach Mike Collins to
call it the "best team performance we've had
since 2002."
