LCSC cross-country teams shine at Eagle meet

EAGLE, Idaho -- After
falling out of the polls for the first time all year
last week, the Lewis-Clark State men's cross country
team came out strong and finished the Eagle Island
Invitational in first place thanks to the efforts of
three top 10 finishers.
The 17th ranked
Warrior women, competing in their first 5K race of
the year, finished third and had two competitors
place in the top 10.
Ciprian Nitoi led the
Warrior men, finishing with a time of 26:18, good
for sixth. Aaron Galbraith placed eighth in 26:22
and Victor Palma came in 10th at 26:46.
On the women's side,
Taryn Joyce-Mendive clocked in at 19:04 earning her
sixth. Emily Perkins was eighth at 19:14.
