HELENA, Mont. -- Although it placed second in this week's Frontier Conference tournament, the Lewis-Clark State men's golf team, took over first place in the conference standings.
The Warriors posted a team total of 875 in the meet, which concluded Tuesday at Green Meadows Country Club. That was good for second behind Victoria, a nonconference competitor, and was 20 strokes better than Rocky Mountain, from whom L-C assumed the conference lead.
Shawn Krahling's 54-hole score of 219 led the Warrior men.
The L-C women totaled 1,004 points, 46 behind Rocky Mountain, which maintained
its overall lead. L-C Nicole Olson finished second individually with 236.
Next week's Frontier Conference tournament will be held at Billings, Mont.
