The Lewis-Clark State golf program is excited to announce that Brittney Wheeler, a Utah high school golf standout, has signed a letter of intent to play for the women’s golf team. From Hyde Park, Utah, Wheeler reportedly is a hard worker both on the golf course and in the class room. Assistant golf coach Steve Tilden describing Wheeler stated, “Brittney has an excellent golf game and a very good swing… We are looking forward to having her join our program.” Coach Tilden believes Wheeler will have an immediate impact on the team, and should play in the team’s top five when she arrives in the fall of 2006.
