HIGH SCHOOL: Playing four years of varsity golf, Shrout recorded third- and fourth-place state finishes during her high school career. She also competed in volleyball. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society, and was on the Honor Roll for four years. PERSONAL: The daughter of Tim and Kay Shrout, Cortney was born on April 10, 1988 in Omak, WA. She plans to major in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.
Favorite thing about being an athlete at LCSC:
"Getting to play golf in college."
Favorite TV show: CSI Favorite book: Chicken Soup for the Golfer's Soul Favorite athlete: Tiger Woods The person who has had the most influence in your life: "Probably my grandmother because she was the one who started me in golf." Reason you came to LCSC: "I get to play golf and it’s a small school, which is the atmosphere I like to be in."
