LCSC
golf teams prepare for first home match of the
spring

Seven men's and
eight women's golf teams will join Lewis-Clark State at
the Clarkston Golf & Country Club on Monday and Tuesday
for the 36-hole Lewis-Clark State Invitational.
Play features a
shot-gun start at 8 a.m. both days along with 18 holes
of play.
The field will
consist of Rocky Mountain, Whitworth, Victoria,
Concordia, Calgary, North Idaho College, Alberta,
Carroll, and LCSC. All have a women's team playing in
the event, while Carroll is the only one without a men's
team.
Both tournaments
feature strong competition. On the men's side, Victoria
is ranked No. 7 in the NAIA, followed by Rocky Mountain
at No. 13, and Concordia at No. 20. LCSC is the top
vote getter among teams that didn't make the Top 25.
On the women's
side, Rocky Mountain is ranked No. 8, Concordia is at
No. 14, LCSC is No. 17, and Victoria is No. 19.
The is the first
match of the spring schedule for the LCSC women, while
the men opened in February in a tournament at Phoenix.
