Winning five of the six
singles matches,
including two in three
sets, the Whitman men's
tennis team defeated
Lewis-Clark State
College 7-2 on Saturday.
Whitman, ranked No. 19
in the NCAA Division III
men's poll, improves to
19-8 on the season,
while LCSC, ranked No.
18 in the NAIA poll,
falls to 10-10.
The Warriors will be
back in action on Sunday
to play Gonzaga in
Spokane.
