HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Curtis High School in Tacoma and graduated in 2009… Earned four varsity letters in tennis where she was a doubles player and also was team captain her junior and senior seasons… Named the team MVP her final three years and was the Tacoma Athletic Commission’s Athlete of the Month winner during those three seasons as well… Was the Tacoma News Tribune’s Prep Athlete of the Week in 2006… Her tennis teams placed ninth at state her sophomore year and seventh during her senior year… Was a three-year member of the volleyball team where she was the setter… She was the captain of the team her junior and senior seasons and helped the team to the district title her junior year when the team placed fifth at state… Also placed seventh at state in her sophomore year… Was the school’s Outstanding Female Athlete Award winner her senior year.

PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 8, 1991… Parents are Dave and Melissa Teigen and she was one sister, Mackenzie… Had a 3.78 GPA in high school and was a Washington State Honors Scholar… Lists her hobbies as boating, volleyball, reading, and traveling… Is pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
