LCSC:
As a sophomore, saw
most of his action
in doubles for the
second straight
season…. Played at
all three doubles
positions, but
mainly was used at
No. 3 at the end of
the season… Posted a
7-9 mark in doubles
play with a victory
in the opening round
at the national
tournament against
St. Thomas… Ten of
his 16 opponents
were ranked… In
singles play, he
posted a 3-1 mark,
winning all three in
straight sets…
Had a solid freshman
season for the
Warriors, seeing
most of his playing
time at doubles. He
went 1-4 in singles
play and 6-6 in
doubles… Was one of
the top alternates
for the national
squad.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Centennial
High School in Boise
where he was a
member of the tennis
team for four years
and captain of the
team his final two
seasons… Also earned
four varsity letters
on the basketball
team where he was
the center… Won
three Idaho State
Class 5A doubles
titles, two in boys’
doubles with partner
Dan Buckingham, and
one in mixed doubles
with former Warrior
Rilee Moorhead.
