MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lewis-Clark State women's tennis team smacked into a familiar barrier Tuesday, falling to Shorter (Ga.) in the second round of the NAIA national tournament. The Warriors lost by a 5-2 count. No LCSC team has ever advanced beyond the second round of this tournament. The Warriors' wins came from Rachel Moorhead and the doubles team of Sonam Yangchen and Maria Amelia Resende. Two singles matches were stopped after Shorter clinched the overall victory.
