and the Warrior
Athletic
Association will
host the fourth
annual WAA High
School Awards
Dinner on
Wednesday, Oct.
13. This event
brings area high
schools and
communities
together and
serves as a
great way to
congratulate and
encourage
regional high
school athletes
and teams on
their efforts
and
accomplishments.
Area
high schools,
ranging from
Pomeroy to
Kamiah, etc.,
have submitted
their
nominations for:
Female Athlete
of the Year
Male Athlete of
the Year
Team of the Year
Coach of the
Year
Meritorious
Award
In Sept.,
these
nominations,
submitted by
each school’s
athletic
director, will
be announced.
Out of these
nominations,
finalists will
be picked by
officials from
Lewis-Clark
State College,
the Warrior
Athletic
Association, and
area high school
sports
enthusiasts. The
WAA High School
Awards Dinner on
Oct. 13 will be
the culmination
of this event,
where one
overall winner
in each category
will be
announced.
Tickets for the
banquet are $25
per person and
can be purchased
from the LCSC
Athletic Ticket
Office, located
upstairs in the
Activity Center.
Tickets also can

card by calling

Those planning
to attend the
event and
accompany a
nominee are
advised to
purchase tickets
early
because tickets
bought at the
door will be on
a first-come,
first-serve
basis and will
be available
seating only.
