Rosa has worked hard on
improving her first two years and has been a
pleasant surprise. Last year, she won the team’s
NAIA Champions of Character Award. As a
freshman, she was one of the Warriors’ big
surprises. She entered that season as somewhat
of an unknown, but surprised everyone. She
competed in the NAIA national meet and finished
seventh on the team.
“She showed that she
was willing to work extremely hard to be the
best she could be and by the time the season was
over had earned her spot on our scoring team and
ran in the national meet,” Collins says.
