HIGH SCHOOL: Competed on the cross country team for two seasons at Pleasant Grove High… As a senior, she finished seventh at the Utah High School All-Star Race, which combines all classifications in the state… She also was captain of the team both years…. Also competed in track both years in distance races… Was named Most Improve Runner her junior season in cross country, but then suffered a stress fracture in track, which forced her to miss the remainder of that season… As a senior, her cross country team qualified for state for the first time in eight seasons… Also a member of the basketball team.
