COLLEGE: Had an outstanding first season, capped by a second-place finish to teammate Stephanie Shuel and the Frontier Conference meet, which earned her all-conference honors… Posted season-best time of 18:37.23 in the race, which was nearly 90 seconds faster than her first 5k meet in the season… Prior to the final two meets of the season, her best finish was sixth on the team, but finished third in the LCSC Invitational… Her strong finish at the end of the season helped her be one of seven runners to represent LCSC at the NAIA national meet where she finished in 19:35.  Also ran 1,500 and 5,000 during outdoor track season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer until her junior year at Medford High and then made the switch to cross country, but missed most of that season with an injury… During her senior season, she improved her 5K time by more than two minutes… During her senior track season, she posted personal bests of 5:02.35 in the 1,500 and 11:06.69 in the 3,000… Also showed her all around athleticism by competing in the triple jump and long jump.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 6, 1989 to Bill and Bernie Harrington… Has one sister, Whitney, and one brother, Clay… Lists her hobbies as hiking, reading Twilight, jumping on trampolines, country swing dancing, going to the coast and playing in the ocean, tennis, movies, spending time with friends and family, and running… Visited more than 10 schools before deciding on LCSC…Is looking at the Education field at LCSC. Made the President’s List for her GPA her first year at LCSC.
