country and track for three
seasons at Havre High School
and was captain of the cross
country team his senior
year… Was an all-state
performer in both sports all
three years… Was divisional
champ his senior year… Ran
16:01 for three miles, 9:56
for 3,200 meters, and 4:33
for 1,600 meters, and 52.4
for 400 meters —all at high
altitude.
