a Junior, Miller claimed
four top-three overall
finishes (Whitman
Invitational – third; Erik
Anderson Invitational –
second; LCSC Invite – third;
Frontier Conference
Championships – third) in
helping the Warriors take
their third consecutive
conference title and
challenge at the NAIA
National
Championships…earned first
career finish as team’s No.1
at the Inland Northwest
Cross Country Challenge,
placing eighth overall with
a season-best time of
25:07.47…No. 5 Warrior at
NAIA Nationals, finishing in
27:12 and placing 132nd…in
outdoor track, won heat and
recorded personal-best time
in 5,000m at the Duane
Hartman Invitational…placed
eighth at the Frontier
Conference meet as a
sophomore, earning
all-conference honors for
the second straight
season…part of the
seven-member team that
finished No. 22 at the NAIA
national meet…eighth-place
finish at the Whitman
Invitational, 20th at the
LCSC Invite…competed during
the outdoor track season…as
a freshman, he finished
either sixth or seventh on
the cross country team
throughout the season with
the exception of a strong
fifth-place race at the
Region I championships.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned all-state
honors as a junior and
senior in cross country and
all-state in track his
senior year for the 3,200m
and the 3,200m
relay…regional champion his
senior year in cross
country…lettered all four
years in both cross country
and track and was the team
captain the final two
seasons for both…Most
Valuable Runner on the team
twice.
