Enjoyed one of the best
seasons in the history
of the Warrior women’s
program...started off
the year by winning the
Idaho Cup, which
featured a number of
NCAA runners...went on
to finish in the top
eight in every regular
season race, including
wins at the Warrior
Invite and the Frontier
Conference meet... ran a
season best 17:23 at the
Warrior Invite...was the
team’s top finisher in
every race...placed 11th
in the NAIA national
meet, which is the
highest finish in
program history and
earned All-American
honors...earned
Daktronics NAIA
Scholar-Athlete
honors... finished third
at Inland Empire meet,
fifth at Eric Anderson
Invite, and eighth at
Willamette Invite.
SOPHOMORE:
finished among the
top-three LC runners in
all seven cross country
races, leading the team
three times…led the
Warriors and finished
26th overall at the
Charles Bowles
Invitational, recording
a time of 18:13 that
stands as the sixth best
5k time in the LC record
book…finished in the
top-10 overall four
times…finished 53rd
overall and No. 1 for LC
at the NAIA National
Championships, crossing
the line in 19:40…Klettke
holds seven LC track
records…in outdoor track
Klettke set school
records, at the season’s
first race, in the 1500m
(4:48.04) and 800m
(2:19.57)…won the 1500m
at the Northwest Scoring
Clash with a then
school-record time of
4:43.69…later qualified
for nationals and broke
her own LC-best times in
the 1500m (4:42.84),
800m (2:13.65) and 5000m
(18:08.61)…ran on
outdoor 4x400m relay
team that set a school
record (4:18.14).
FRESHMAN: placed
sixth overall in her
cross country debut at
the Whitman
Invitational…gradually
built on her time
despite being hampered
by illness…competed in
the 800m, 1500m and
4x400m relay during the
indoor and outdoor track
seasons…part of the
indoor 4x400m relay team
that set a school record
(4:23.32)…earned
fifth-place finish in
the 1500m and was fifth
in the 800m at the Idaho
Cup…took third in the
800m at Eastern
Washington.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Qualified for the state
cross country meet three
times and was the
district champion in
cross country and
track…broke district
cross country course
record and set meet
records at the Capitol
Invite (twice) and
Hoquiam Invite…during
her first three years,
she won 20 of the 35
cross country races she
competed in…state
champion in Junior
Olympics for both Oregon
and Washington in 2006
in cross country and
placed in the top five
on four occasions in
USATF Junior Olympics
Track and Field in
2006…personal bests of
18:03 in the three-mile
in cross country, 61
seconds in the 400m,
2:18 in the 800m, 4:52
in the 1500m and 10:35
for 3000m in track and
field…all of her track
times would have broken
LCSC school records at
these distances.
