HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in three sports at Gooding…lettered all four years in cross country and track and field, and once in basketball…was team captain all four years in cross country and his senior year in track…finished 13th at Idaho State Class 3A cross country meet as a freshman and placed fourth at the state track meet in the 3,200 and eighths in the 1,600…placed second in state 3A cross country meet as a sophomore and junior, and then fourth in 2A meet as a senior…sophomore year in track he was third in the 3,200 and eighth in the 1,600, and was second and fourth, respectively, in the two races as a junior…finished second in the 3,200, fourth in the 1,600 and eighth in the 800 his senior year…has personal best of 16:30 in cross country for 5,000 meters, 9:41 in 3,200, 4:33 in 1,600, and 2:03 in 800 in track.

PERSONAL: Born May 24, 1993 in Jerome, Idaho…parents are Vance and Karen McHan, and he has two brothers, Chris and Nate, and three sisters Jessica, Lisa, and Cami… member of the Magic Valley Running Team, which won the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships for the Intermediate Boys’ Division in 2009…he placed ninth in his event at the championships…hobby is playing sports…Kinesiology major.
