JUNIOR
: Was one of the interchangeable runners LCSC had last season that would finish anywhere between second and 10th on the team in each race…improved throughout the season as she was the team’s seventh finisher in the first race of the season, but then dropped to No. 4 and No. 5 twice in the next three races…came on strong at the Warrior Invite where she was eighth overall and second on the team in a season-best 18:44, but then was ninth on the team at the conference meet .

SOPHOMORE
: Rojas finished eighth or ninth among LC runners three times…recorded best finish at the LCSC Invite, finishing 13th overall and No. 8 for the Warriors with a personal-best time of 19:16.1…placed 12th at the Frontier Conference meet in a then personal-best time of 19:35.44 as LCSC had 10 of the top 12 finishers in the race…in indoor track, member of the school-record setting 4x400m relay team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ran two seasons for Alexander Von Humboldt school in Peru. In 2007, claimed the city championship in the 800m, and finished second in the 400m…qualified for the semifinals in the 800m and finished fourth in the 400m open at the junior national championships…in 2006, Rojas took first in the 800m and second in the 1500m at the city championship…finished fourth in the 400m and fifth in the 800m at the junior national championships.

PERSONAL: Born Aug.1, 1989 in Peru to Alejandro Rojas and Yvone Rodriguez…one sibling, Alessandra Rojas…hobbies include dancing, painting, going to the beach and buying earrings…speaks German and Spanish…pursuing a degree in pre-med Biology.
