 PERSONAL: Undecided major…son of Rod and Kim Thueson...COACH PFEIFER ON THUESON: “When Drew asked if he could be on our team during the summer, I looked at him and told him we would give him a chance. I cautioned him that going from his high school program to the arena he was about to step into was like increasing the level drastically on a video game. Some have the ability to jump from level 3 to level 8 and some do not. So far Drew has shown he has that ability, particularly on the defensive end of the floor. What has given him the ability to rise to the new level of play is his willingness to defend. Drew will end up red shirting this year. We feel confident that this year will be good for him and for us. Good for him as he will get stronger and even more aware of how to play and good for us as he does not back down and will challenge any one and everyone when he comes out on the court.”
