PERSONAL: A business major…son of Ricky L. Frazier, Sr....born Nov. 7, 1980...has one younger brother…COACH PFEIFER ON FRAZIER: “We were really pleased with the way Ricky developed for us throughout last year. Although he came off the bench most of the time, Ricky played starter minutes. It was nice knowing that night in and night out we were in possession of one of the quickest players on the floor. What is interesting is that before the season was over he shot almost 40 percent from beyond the arc. What makes that even more impressive is that he struggled early on, at one point he was shooting 3 of 21. Numerous people comment on his offensive strengths as a player. They do not realize how critical to our team’s success was his ability to set a line of scrimmage for us defending on and off the ball. I believe the most difficult position to come into and play as a new player to any program is the point guard position. Having made the necessary adjustment throughout last year we see him starting at an even higher level of productivity, which we believed was already special.
