Martin Brothers and Danny Allen, who led the
Lewis-Clark State men's basketball team to a second
consecutive appearance in the national tournament,
both drew honorable mention on the NAIA All-America
team, announced Wednesday.
Allen, a senior point guard from
Dallas, led the Warriors in scoring (14 ppg) and
assists (3.7).
Brothers, a senior forward from
Indianapolis, posted 13 ppg and a team-best 7.1 rpg.
Brothers claimed this same award last season.
Coach George Pfeifer, who just
completed his 16th season, has now had 17
All-Americans at LCSC.
In the national tournament last
week, the Warriors were put out in the first round
by Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn).
