Warriors Topple Notre Dame de Namur SALT LAKE CITY -- Lewis-Clark State limited Notre Dame de Namur to 25-percent shooting and claimed a victory on the final day of Westminster's tournament. The Warriors improved to 4-1 by winning two of three games in this tournament. They lost to Concordia (Calif.) on Friday night. "After playing three games in three days, I thought we were a bit sluggish and impatient offensively," L-C coach George Pfeifer said. "Defensively, we showed a lot of grit." Pfeifer lauded the play of Danny Allen, Skylar Wilson and Spencer Bishop. He also mentioned the "good defensive presence" of post James Idoko. The Warriors will be in Pullman to face Washington State on Wednesday. L-C will then hold a tournament on Friday and Saturday. "Ideally, we wouldn't set this up like that," Pfeifer said. "A Division I schools, if they want a game and they're nice enough to ask us, we're going to play. "The bottom line is they're Cameron Diaz," he added. "And if Cameron Diaz asks you out on a date, you've got to say yes." Statistics from this game were not provided to the Tribune.
